Position type: Full Time

This is the first venture of this kind and the successful candidate will work with the Senior Clinical Manager in developing the highest quality care for patients undergoing surgery for a cancer diagnosis.

You will lead a team of senior staff nurses and staff nurses to develop the unit as activity increases.

You must have a minimum of 4 years experience within a surgical environment, 2 of which should have been at senior staff nurse level. You must be clinical strong and ideally with experience in surgery and cancer care. Alternatively you may have worked within HDU or ITU which will be considered an advantage. You must have excellent people skills, be able to demonstrate your leadership qualities and have a real desire to be involved in a new unit. Experience working within a dynamic and changing environment would be an advantage
