Registered Nurse
Pay: $26.01/hour
Typical Shifts: 7am-7pm, 7am-3:30pm, 11:30am-7pm, 1-7pm; 3:30-7pm Mon-Sat; 7am-7pm Sat-Sun; 10am-10pm. Full Time (32+ hours/week), Part Time (16-20 hours/week) and PRN (on call).

Locations:
5 Outpatient Clinics in Southeastern Virginia. These clinics provide care to the military, their families and military retirees. The sites are: BMC Boone in Norfolk, BMC Oceana in Virginia Beach, and 2 Tricare Prime clinics in Chesapeake and 1 other Tricare Prime Clinic in Virginia Beach.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Either a BSN in Nursing and at least 2 yrs experience, a Diploma Graduate in Nursing and at least 3 yrs of experience, or an Associate Degree in Nursing and at least 4 yrs of experience.
Possess a current Virginia Nursing License or if licensed in another state to be eligible via Nursing Licensure Compact.
Have at least 12 months experience as an RN in the last 36 months in one of the following areas: Hospital ER, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
Dedicated to professional health care in a team based environment.
Flexibility to work weekends (Sat. or Sat/Sun) and 12 hour shifts when needed.
Professional Duties:
Work directly with selected patients and families to develop a plan of care to meet needs. Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide total quality patient care.
Receive patient assignments, formulate and implement nursing care plan for assigned patients, and review and update them as required.
Administer specific medications at designated times and in designated manner. Observe patients and report pertinent data on condition and medication or treatments.
Chart nursing observations and ensure record is complete with all procedures and test results recorded. Maintain required clinic records and collect required statistics.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians with treatment procedures.
Assist in planning, supervising and instructing LPNs and Medical Assistants.
