Job Description:
Our client is a Private Company that specialises in administering procedures within a patients' own home (such as IV antibiotics, chemotherapy and blood transfusions).

They are looking to recruit a Home IV Nurse (Oncology) within the London area.
You must be able to cannulate proficiently and have experience administering chemotherapy. The role involves travel and working independently/autonomously within the patients own homes.

Ensuring that all relevant information regarding patients is recorded, reported and where necessary, acted upon to communicate any changes to the Consultant/GP and other team members as appropriate.

Assisting the referring Consultant and hospital in planning a smooth transition of patient care from the hospital to the home.

Devising a care plan (based on Orem model of nursing) suitable to the patients needs.

Requirements:
- First level Nurse licensed to practice by Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- 2 years post-registration experience of administering chemotherapy
- Skilled in cannulation - Full clean driving licence
- No employment restrictions to work in the United Kingdom
